Hi, I’m Amirali Monz — a biomedical engineer, researcher, and educator passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of medicine, technology, and human need.
I recently completed my Master’s in Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago, where I focused on bio-immunoengineering and translational research. My work spans patented AI tools for spine surgery, mobile apps for surgical education, and research collaborations with institutions like Johnson & Johnson.
Outside the lab, I’ve taught STEM to students ranging from age 5 to 30 and founded a tutoring program that’s served over 300 learners worldwide. Whether in the classroom or clinic, I aim to make science human-centered and impactful.
I believe meaningful innovation starts with curiosity and grows through collaboration — and I’m always looking to join teams building something that matters.
