As part of a collaborative study published in PNAS, I contributed to the development of a mathematical model describing hormonal regulation of growth and maturation in Drosophila melanogaster. By integrating experimental data with dynamical systems modeling, our work captured the role of ecdysone pulses in orchestrating key developmental transitions. This project deepened our understanding of endocrine control mechanisms and demonstrated the power of computational biology in decoding complex physiological systems.
